This is glass that has been blown in the South Jersey tradition that I do not have a dedicated page for. Others I can not attribute to any specific company.
Some are from South Jersey, but others may be from New England, Pittsburgh or West Virginia area. Those pieces I honestly do not know. If you have thoughts on any particular piece I would be happy to here from you and discuss it.

AN ALLAGATOR OR CROCKADILE in clear glass. It was blown by Louis (Louie) Giacomelli from south New Jersey. HE IS FAMOUS FOR MAKING FREE-BLOWN GLASS ANIMALS. It is about 8 ½" long and the tail is snapped. This is where he held the glass while working with it, not damage! A very nice example of his work!

Two blue candlestick blown by Emil Larson, the "glassblowers glassblower". They was made between 1931 and 1946 while he was blowing glass at one of his furnaces in his backyard in Vineland New Jersey. It is 4 1/8" tall and 3 3/8" across the bottom. It looks as if it was made in three parts. The glass is full of bubbles. There is no damage, chips or fleabites. It does have a slightly rough pontil about 3/4" in diameter. They are not an exact match. They are the same size but the cups at the top are a little different which you can see in the photos.
Price $115.00 pair Separate $60.00 each

A free-blown gemel bottle or flask, aqua color, from early 1800's, south Jersey origin. These may have been used to hold oil and vinegar? 7 3/4" long. Made by making two flat ovoid shaped bottles and then fastening them together, it has a rough snapped pontil on the bottom. This one will NOT stand on end. A little dirty but not bad. I have never tried to clean the bottle. A great example of South Jersey history and getting very hard to find! No chips, cracks or flea bites!

Freeblown hen eggs considered a glass whimsey (whimsie, whimsy). These were used to induce chickens to lay more eggs. Considered an utilitarian item but getting hard to find now. These are about the size of large chicken eggs, about 2 ¼" long and 1 ¾" in diameter. Both have small dimples on the end (pontil) where they were snapped from the rod. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks or flea bites. A great piece of hard to find history.

This is a very nicely made clear glass Brides Bank whimsey (whimsie, whimsy). The are often confused with flower arrangers or flower frogs. They were made to be placed on tables to allow gifts of money for new brides. The base appears to have been made from a small jar and then the looping (loops) were blown and attached to the base. This bank has six pairs of attached clear loops.. It has a fire polished pontil. About 3 ¾" high and 4" across. In excellent condition, no chips, cracks or flea bites. The base is a little dirty but may clean up, I have never tried to clean it.
