This is a nice little piece of South Jersey history. It is an VASELINE OPEN SALT made on AUGUST HOFBAUER press and sold at CLEVENGER BROTHERS GLASS WORKS in CLAYTON, NEW JERSEY. It is in excellent condition. It is the only piece of Vaseline glass I am aware of that was made by Hofbauer or Clevenger's. It has been tested by a black light and glows nicely!  This piece is most likely from the 1950's.

This is a nice little piece of South Jersey history. It is a BLUE OPTIC VASE made by AUGUST HOFBAUER in excellent condition. This is a beautiful color and the glass shines at you!  It stands 8 1/4" tall, is 8 1/22" wide. it has a nice 1 1/4" sand pontil on the bottom, one of his trade marks. It was blown most likely at the BEACON GLASS COMPANY which was located in VINELAND NEW JERSEY.
